So wonderfully peaceful, and such a delightful concept!

I didn't mean to play the entire game in one sitting, but gosh it was just so nice to sit back and play! The cats certainly do take their time getting close to each other, but I worked out some tricks to sort of scare them toward one another, and eventually, you even get bonus points for taking pictures of cats multiple times!

I like the earning mechanic of getting likes and followers, very on brand for cat photography. Not sure how I missed for so long that I was getting points for completing goals (the trophy at the top of the upgrade shop) but it helped a bit once I realized I had a hoard of uncollected points to spend!

Can't wait to see where else this game goes! Great work on it! Wishlisted!!

Hello, I've played the web version in the past, and then the Linux version downloaded from itch. It works fine. About 15 minutes ago, I downloaded the demo on Steam, but it doesn't work on my Linux system. Normally, I don't have any compatibility issues with Steam games thanks to Proton, which is directly integrated by Steam for playing on Linux. I don't know what happened.

Welp I beat the game after having this open for a week, the winter thing isn't open yet, just says the new value is zero. But this has been amazing to play!! I'll keep in open so that I don't lose my progress :3

very cool, this is the type of game I'd spend 5 hours playing on steam. The cats are so cute. Like some other people, I did have the game crash, but mine didn't reset. For a newly posted game, it's pretty good imo

This is the best game I've ever found on Itch.io so far :) it's so cute and was a lot of fun clicking to take pictures of the cats and lining the camera up while they move. It reminds me of Pokemon Snap without the 3D graphics and motion sickness, and I was literally just wanting exactly that the other day, so this was so crazy to find!

I love how you could throw things to interact with the pokemon in that game or they would interact with each other. Having cat toys to throw at the cats/ have them walk up to them and play while taking pictures, or having them play with each other would be so cute! (I didn't play the whole game yet, so if this is in there I will be thrilled). Amazing job! :)

The music and pixel art are both really nice. A few descriptions weren't the best in the upgrades, leaving me a little confused, and I wish that there were notes on why certain photos got more than others. It also had a really bad problem with memory, it used up way more than more intensive games I've played, but it was really fun regardless.

I really hope that y'all are able to fix it, and the release goes well ^^

Out of nowhere I got like 500k likes (on the last round my avg was ~20k) and it just started lagging hella lot right after that and now my followers are going back and forth from -5 quintillion to +5 quintillion and increasing. Now just after writing that the last digit thing is already DC??? what even is that LOL.

But I genuinely enjoyed the game before it broke, such a cozy and nice game <3

I already played this game on a different site, and I enjoyed what I was able to play, but it crashed. I replayed after the author claimed to fix the crash and implement saving. Unfortunately, it still crashed, but saving worked so I was able to reload.

The balance just feels off - I felt the whole time like I had too many likes (making progression in some areas trivial), and too few followers (which created large walls where I was just waiting for followers). I just got 500k followers and I really don't have the motivation to do 20 more runs (I calculated) with no new content whatsoever to unlock the sea biome. Also, why is the persian cat in two different boxes? I already unlocked it, right?

Yeah, the crash still happens. We are still trying to fix it, but in our setup we can play for 60-80 minutes without problems. Yet we can confirm that the problem happens only on web, so if you can download or even play through Steam, it can really help. Sorry again for the crash on web

Such a cute game! I only wish there was a way to see what cats + accessories you've unlocked along with their little stats so you can focus on getting the best pictures.

Highly cozy and enjoyable, and I’m curious how it will expand! But yeah it looks like there’s a WASM memory leak on version 0.2.8, because it crashes hard after 30 to 60 mins of continuous play. It doesn’t look like its an entity limit thing because the number of cats on screen doesn’t seem to be related.

Really liked the game! the visuals, sounds, music, everything in this game its so cozy :) !!!

but i think the game could improve in some aspects, like the gameplay, that, for me, sometimes can be a little boring

i love this game so much and will continue to play for a while but as i was playing the game it crashed/glitched and made me lose all progress. i played twice just to make sure and it did twice. but overall i love the game and everything so much <3 i also love the bobtail with the sunflower hat <3

got a crash mid dandelions so ill come back to it and finish it some other time. the game is lovely, i love kitties and its so cute!!! the backgrounds are very pretty. when i got to 300 kities i feared about the game a bit cause 300 kits on one screen would be a lot (and awesome) but i see it is limited to some lower number.

if i were to say one thing tho, i think some of the upgrade descriptions could be a bit clearer as it took me some thinking to figure out what they mean.

happily following and looking forward to future updates :D

Cool game! Very fun, but I unfortunately encountered an OOM error before I could finish it. The fact that nothing saved (playing on browser version) somewhat dissuaded me from continuing. I'm playing on the brave browser, and was in the middle of taking a snap of a few cats. Seems I'm not the first to encounter it...

really great game! game crashed at end of dandilion feild and lost all progress. when buying with followers it deosnt deduct. also the followers were progressing way to slowly at the end.

I love the visuals! It looks very unique.

However, the game began lagging heavily about fifteen minutes in, which caused my browser to crash. I only made it to the fall area before the crash.

The lag spikes happened only when taking pictures, as far as I'm aware. The lag seemed to get worse depending on the number of cats in the photo, too. My game crashed when I tried taking a picture of about five cats.

For what it's worth, I'm playing the HTML5 version on Firefox, running on Ubuntu. I apologize, I don't have much more information to give.

Like the other commenter mentioned, I don't really understand what the "x10 900 per photo" upgrade does.

I really like the animations and pixel art; despite those issues, I think you all did a great job with the game. Good luck with development!

GOOD SOUNDS, MAYBE INCREMENT THE SOUND OF THE CAMERA AND VARIETY OF CATS SOUNDS

I HAD THE SO CALLED " NEGATIVE LIKES " BUG, WAS WHILE I WAS READING COMMENTS AFTER FINISHED THE AVAILABLE CONTENT, BUT IT REPARED ITSELF AFTER A FEW SECONDS

THE NUMBER OF ACCESORIES MAKES THE PROBABILITIES FOR DIFFERENTS COSTUMES? IF IS THAT MAYBE SOFTCAPPING SO IF YOU BUY A LOT OF BOXES OF ONE TYPE IT DOESN'T MAKE ALL THE CATS THE SAME.

AFTER A TIME, IT BECOME A RUN FOR FOLLOWERS, THE LIKES WERE EXCESSIVELY HIGH FOR THE UPGRADES, BUT I GUESS YOU CAN USE THEM TO BUY BOXES, ALSO MONEY, BUT MAYBE A X10-100 BUY BOTTON, FOR WHEN YOU WANT TO BUY BOXES QUICKLY.

THE GAME IS AN INCREMENTAL, SO IT DOESN'T REALLY NEEDS TO FOCUS IN EVERY DETAIL ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE PHOTOS, BUT IT WOULD BE GOOD IF YOU WERE COMPENSATED BETTER FOR A GOOD PHOTO THAN JUST CLICKING IN EVERY CAT YOU CAN SEE.

NICE INCREMENTAL 8/10 WOULD RECOMMEND

I love this game sm! The backgrounds are soo pretty and the kittys are utterly adorable. Also love the simplicity of it

But unfortunately, every time I've tried to complete there is some sort of error that makes the game crash or freeze which forces me loose all progress

Info:

- I get so many likes that I can't spend them. Some photos get me 1,000,000 likes.

- When you pay with followers, they aren't deducted from the count. If I have 10,000 followers and I pay for a 5,000 upgrade, I still have 10,000 followers.

- I'm running out of followers to progress. (11 million likes that I can't spend, 170k in-game currency that will be spent very quickly, and only 180k followers that are slowly increasing.)
