Traumatizing and amazing game
(+3)

Very nice.

Look at that subtle foreshadowing.

The tasteful slow burn of it.

Oh my god, it even has metaphors.

(+2)

Thank u so much, Sterelizia!

Why is it named for abortion when it's a neonatal death?  It might be a miscarriage or a stillbirth, but you wouldn't get a legal birth and death of a child who wasn't delivered while they still showed signs of life, and that certificate seems to be literal since it appears with all the normal belongings.

Maybe it's a translation issue?  I had to look up what the correct term in this situation would be, so I wouldn't blame you, but I do think it's really not a trivial distinction to make.

(+1)

that's the metaphor

(+1)

???  Nothing about the game suggests it was an abortion unless perhaps it was a situation where the mother's life was in danger, but I don't remember any reference to such a thing.  If your answer is "It was an abortion and these are metaphors," I think that is sidestepping the issue that metaphors are suppose to make sense.

nights are not real

(+1)

Certainly, but you first encounter the certificate (which suggests neonatal death) is during the day!  It only appears in a nightmare later.  Also, genuinely almost everything in the game suggests neonatal death or maybe stillbirth, down to the climactic scene, which does not suggest the pregnancy was unwanted.  I can't point to a single thing indicating that it was a choice, even a compelled one.  Everything points to it being a health issue on the part of the fetus.

While I have your attention, I do want to commend that the second person camera in that one shot was an excellent call, though.

What an experience.

Keep up the good work.

I love this. the dynamic hand mechanic was amazing! this has been my favorite indie horror itchio game this year <3 <3

(+3)

story was pretty sad, but great game!! Very well made game!

Short horror game dealing with the trauma of loss | Abodtion

Game genuinely creeped me out and gave me chills. Great sound design and the portrayal of dealing with loss
(+3)

Enjoyed every second of the game a very unique approach with the while more pyschological horror aspect! Dev team did amazing!
(+3)

Great game, I liked all the symbolism and the story itself was well told, this is quality.

(+3)

I kept dying right when I was done pushing the minecart, and I don't know why! I closed my eyes when I was checking the leaky faucet and went to turn around. Jumped out of my chair when the eggs exploded

(+2)

The minecart thing happened to me as well, before you grab the lantern you have to be close to the minecart or it will start the scene over

(+3)

Very unique game! This game has more of a symbolic meaning that leaves the viewer to build a story based on the connections made with oneself. I recommend this game! Very nice for any creator to explore.
(+3)

This was a good game, very unique with the graphics and playstyle; and the story was short and sweet. My only gripe though was how sudden and in-my-face everything was, it felt kind of rushed and scattered a bit. Didn't really give me enough time to truly absorb the atmosphere and theme of the game to its fullest extent.

This was still a great experience, I would just recommend to allow the player to ease into the game so they can absorb what you want them to see.

(+3)

Hi!!! Cool game!!!

(+3)

good game

chapter 10MAY2025

the music composer is unbelievable

(+2)

Yeah, music from a very talented guy, https://freesound.org/people/Muyo5438/

(+4)

Gave your game a try. Did a good job compelling me to think about the nuances of horror and video games a lot more than I had originally anticipated.

I have a playthrough and a review detailing my thoughts, all timestamped accordingly.

(+3)

Really good! I liked the art style and the "grabby-ness" of the main character. lol I did a lets play! first game!

(+3)

what are the min requirements for it ?

(+1)

The game runs smoothly on my laptop, I think a gtx1050 will suffice, and some not the strongest processor :)

Actually my laptop is an office laptop.

GPU is Nvidia 820M and the processor is I5-5200 U

It won't run I guess.

(+3)

Me ha gustado mucho el juego, el gameplay es en español.
(+3)

Hey! I played your game and if you're curious I review it at the end of my video. There are timestamps in the description as well. :)

(1 edit) (+3)

While I do enjoy the game I think 5 more minutes of gameplay could've really helped make it stronger.

Still 5/5 for being short and good

(+3)

Gameplay en español
(1 edit) (+3)

Dark setting but awesome hands.
The game is really good in symbolic language.

(+3)

It's a pretty interesting game, and it's well made! However, it could be a bit longer and explore the events that happen in the game even further!
