The storyline of the game was insanely intense and as the game progressed so did the arousal of sad emotions. This in my opinion, takes the cake out of the lots of games that I played that exhibit such emotions. I absolutely enjoyed every second that I played through, especially the nightmare portion, perfect game in my opinion!!! Hoping for more!
8/10 This game was a nice journey. I liked a lot the way it tell us the story, the dialogues while setting up the moving boxes (original way to entertain in a commonly boring activity in horror games), the atmospheric twitst in the first night, the unexpected trip in the protagonist nightmares... you made me feel that you had put love into this project (the details on the arms are crazy!) But for the final... didn't respect the standards of the game, it gave me the feeling that you rushed it.
BTW, overall it was a great experience! And nowadays it's difficult to stand up with original ideas for horror games and from my point of view you succeded it. Keep on working and give us some gems!
I've played some sad game in the past but this one takes the cake. The beginning was dark already but the more you play just keeps getting darker and darker. I almost cried while playing this and after I finished. This is a perfectly made game that will get you in your feels. This is amazing and I enjoyed playing this despite how sad it made me. Keep up the good work.
Wow what a dark turn, definitely got a weird vibe throughout the gameplay. The game itself is just amazing. You can really see the attention to detail and the effort that went into it, really stands out! Looking forward more games! 🥰
There is an interact button?! I don't think I used it once. So who knows what I missed! The energy I bring to this video says nothing about me as a person. Haha
An absolute gut punch of a story with a unique look, eerie atmosphere and just solid gameplay - bravo!
I honestly didn't expect the game to be this good. After playing it, I definitely took some time to think about the story and it filled me with lots of questions about the character, the ambiguous ending, just everything. Highly recommend checking this one out for the fans of psychological horror. And I must admit, the "Amnesia" screen effect, in the mines, that was a nice touch.
ahh thank you so much, seriously appreciate this. we really aimed for that mix of quiet tension and emotional weight, so hearing it stuck with you means a lot
also love that you caught the amnesia-style effect in the mines — not many people mention it
Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a YouTuber. If you like my videos, do leave a like and subscribe at my channel.
This is an interesting horror game that explores the life of a broken family, having to move out to a new apartment to live in. I found it interesting that the eyes of the characters are souless as it makes the characters feel as though there is something dark that is bothering them which is further elaborated in the game. Moreover, I liked that the game unravels the depressing events that occurred within the family progressively as you play through the game where the horror and scariness continuously built up before reaching the ending of the game.
*SPOILERS ALERT*
Some questions I had was the reasoning for the middle section of the game where the main character dreamt about being in a cave and pushing a minecart. To me, this section didn't really make a lot of connection to the main story as I was wondering whether the usage of caves, darkness and minecarts was to symbolise the internal world of the main character or is it related to the main character's previous job? Regarding the ending of the game, my understanding is that the wife could no longer deal with the loss of her child but I felt that definitely more could have been done to elevate the tension and horror before reaching this event.
In general, I think the game could cover more about the horrors that the family have experienced such as the lack of connection with parents, how the main character lost his job, how the child was lost, how the wife had to deal with all the negative events etc. before reaching the end of the game.
Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.
thanks a lot for the thoughtful breakdown — really appreciate you diving deep into the themes and symbolism. totally hear you on the cave and clarity issues — with the latest update, we fixed a few bugs and added missing details to make the story flow more clearly, especially around the emotional core that felt underexplored in v1.0
You recently played ATHYRA: Rock Paper Scissors and I loved your video! I just wanted to let you know that I have an updated version of the demo and it is now on Steam! Any type of support would be truly appreciated!

Loved how you conveyed the story. Really good use of environments, but I wish the ending had just a little more.

What a solid game this was indeed! Really impactful the story was for sure, never had a game hit quite as hard as this tbh. Made a video on it.
W game
Thank you so much for taking the time to make a video — seeing someone unpack the game both literally and emotionally means a lot to us.
What do you think about stuckу "sandwich -moment", how could we make it more clear understandable?

Interesting story overall with nice tie in on loss of a loved one. It was more captivating then scary for me. Keep it up.
