Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a YouTuber. If you like my videos, do leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

This is an interesting horror game that explores the life of a broken family, having to move out to a new apartment to live in. I found it interesting that the eyes of the characters are souless as it makes the characters feel as though there is something dark that is bothering them which is further elaborated in the game. Moreover, I liked that the game unravels the depressing events that occurred within the family progressively as you play through the game where the horror and scariness continuously built up before reaching the ending of the game.

*SPOILERS ALERT*

Some questions I had was the reasoning for the middle section of the game where the main character dreamt about being in a cave and pushing a minecart. To me, this section didn't really make a lot of connection to the main story as I was wondering whether the usage of caves, darkness and minecarts was to symbolise the internal world of the main character or is it related to the main character's previous job? Regarding the ending of the game, my understanding is that the wife could no longer deal with the loss of her child but I felt that definitely more could have been done to elevate the tension and horror before reaching this event.

In general, I think the game could cover more about the horrors that the family have experienced such as the lack of connection with parents, how the main character lost his job, how the child was lost, how the wife had to deal with all the negative events etc. before reaching the end of the game.

Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

thanks a lot for the thoughtful breakdown — really appreciate you diving deep into the themes and symbolism. totally hear you on the cave and clarity issues — with the latest update, we fixed a few bugs and added missing details to make the story flow more clearly, especially around the emotional core that felt underexplored in v1.0

thanks again for taking the time!
